Introduce yourself in a few words. Casting directors observe the actor’s natural personality when he’s not acting, and when the stress of performance doesn’t inhibit him too much.

If he has already sent photos and a demo tape, casting directors are already aware of his physical appearance and what he considered his best acting moments. The purpose of this step is to perceive his energy, and who he is. It’s all about being enjoyable, but above all memorable.

– his performance: he will present a first performance, or a reading, and this will often be his only opportunity to play with team members before a final decision is made. In this case, it’s all about assessing your relationship with your work. This is where experience, or knowledge of the environment, codes, what is expected, will come into play. Having the tools to present a variety of options, which is essential when shooting to give the editor choice, is of course important, as is a certain technique of acting in front of the camera.
no-repeat;left top;;
auto

733,735
2
thumbnail

INCLUDES

4 hours per week in small groups supervised by Chris Mack

left
no-repeat;left top;;
auto
10px

PROGRAM

 acting exercises in front of the camera

left
no-repeat;left top;;
auto
10px

20
default

default
default

DETAILS & LEVELS

left
no-repeat;left top;;
auto
10px

20
default
default

INTERVENOR
icon

CHRIS MACK

Acting coach for over 25 years, Chris Mack specializes in acting in front of the camera and casting preparation.

Bilingual, he has taught at numerous Parisian theater and film schools: The American University of Paris, Les Ateliers du Sudden, Method Acting Center, Bilingual Acting Workshop, Blanche Salant, EICAR…

After the success of the Masterclass we organized with him, the weekly course “The Working Actor” was created, which still brings together his two strong points, for actors wishing to become professional or boost their career.

It is adapted on Zoom since 2019, to allow actors who wish to continue to train even if confined, and to specifically practice the increasingly common work of casting and acting in front of the computer camera, or the preparation of self-tapes.
no-repeat;left top;;
auto

20
default
default

REGISTRATION FEES
icon

20
default

\\The Working Actor Now on ZOOM centerno-repeat;left top;;auto Weekly casting and filming preparation course with Chris Mackcenterno-repeat;left top;;auto THE WORK OF THE MODERN ACTOR leftno-repeat;left top;;auto10px […]

["post-2931","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry

THE WORKING ACTOR | Principonautes - Paris Meisner Studio

<meta name="description" content="The Working Actor: the studio's program on the work of the modern actor.
